{"id":1832,"date":"2019-09-30T21:02:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T12:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rt-medphys.med.tohoku.ac.jp\/?p=1832"},"modified":"2023-08-01T21:05:05","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T12:05:05","slug":"2019-9-30-peter-maccallum-cancer-center%e8%a8%aa%e5%95%8f","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rt-medphys.med.tohoku.ac.jp\/en\/2019-9-30-peter-maccallum-cancer-center%e8%a8%aa%e5%95%8f\/","title":{"rendered":"2019.9.30\uff5e10.1\uff1aPeter MacCallum Cancer Center"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dr. Kadoya (Assistant professor) and Hosoya(M1) visited Peter MacCallum Cancer Center in Australia with Kyoto University group for the international joint research with Japanese Clinical Oncology Group(JCOG) and Global Harmonisation<br>Group(GHG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25a0Date\uff1a\u30002019.9.30\uff5e10.1<br>\u25a0Venue\uff1a\u3000Peter MacCallum Cancer Center- Melbourne, Australia<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"675\" height=\"445\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rt-medphys.med.tohoku.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/2019\u8a2a\u554f.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1822\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rt-medphys.med.tohoku.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/2019\u8a2a\u554f.jpg 675w, https:\/\/www.rt-medphys.med.tohoku.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/2019\u8a2a\u554f-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yuri Hosoya(M1)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 30-October 1, 2019, Dr.Kadoya and Ms.Hosoya(M1) visited the Peter MacCallum Cancer Center in Australia with a group from Kyoto University as part of an international collaboration between the Japanese Clinical Oncology Group (JCOG) and the Global Harmonisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As in the visit to BC Cancer-Vancouver in Canada, they used a phantom to evaluate the accuracy of Deformable Image Registration (DIR) to investigate the differences in DIR accuracy between facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assistant Professor Kakutani gave a presentation on the joint research, and we had a very fruitful discussion with many local staff members who are familiar with DIR.<br>In the course of the research, we were able to see various innovations to improve DIR accuracy, and we also received valuable feedback on our research methods, which was very informative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A first-year master&#8217;s student (Kyoto University), who was also with me, accompanied me this time, and we were able to exchange various opinions about our research.
