Besides, Dr Kadoya (Assistant professor), Mr. Tomori (D1) foined the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had Campus ePoster presentation with title of \u201cA deep convolutional neural network approach for IMRT dose distribution prediction in prostate cancer patients\u201d. In this study, we propose a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) method for performing prediction of IMRT dose distribution using only contours in planning CT. Our results showed the potential of DCNN to predict dose distribution.<br>At the presentation and discussion, I needed to talk all in English. I couldn\u2019t express what I want to explain in English, so I felt that it is necessary to improve my English skill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this meeting, there were many topics of Artificial Intelligence. The purpose of using Artificial Intelligence was the improvement of the quality of radiotherapy, of image quality and imaging diagnosis. There are other usages, so I realized again that artificial intelligence has very high versatility. In Japan, there are still few studies using artificial intelligence and many basic research, so we will continue to conduct research and presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also participated in the workshop of CT ventilation. Many famous researchers in the field were present. I heard the most advanced research including CT ventilation imaging. CT ventilation is not actively conducted in Japan, so I could learn about the trend of CT ventilation study.
