I gave a presentation titled “Development of an Extended Virtual Phantom Set for Enhancing Adaptability in the Zero-Prep MR-Linac Workflow.”

As this was my first conference presentation, I felt nervous and anxious beforehand, but I was relieved to complete it successfully. During the preparation process, I had to think carefully about how to organize my explanation so that even people hearing about my research for the first time could understand it. Through creating slides and practicing my presentation, I learned a great deal.

In my presentation, I reported on improvements to a virtual phantom aimed at increasing the efficiency of the zero-prep workflow in MR-Linac treatment and examined its impact on improving DIR accuracy. Although I believed I understood the topic well myself, I realized how difficult it is to explain complex content clearly within a limited amount of time. In addition, during the Q&A session, there were some questions I could answer adequately and others I could not, which helped me identify areas for future improvement.

By attending other presentations, I learned that a wide range of research is being conducted in the field of medical physics, including image processing, treatment planning, and quality management. This experience was highly motivating and inspiring for my own research. I would like to make use of the experience I gained from this conference to further deepen my research and improve my ability to give clear and understandable presentations in the future.

↑ Koki Nakajyo (M2)

Dr. Noriyuki Kadoya, Ryohei Kato, Shuta Ogawa, Ryota Tozuka, Shinichi Tanaka, Yoshiyuki Takahashi, Seiya Koga, Hikaru Tanno, Koki Nakajyo, Haruto Mizuno, Shota Yabuki, Kanna Kawakami participated in JRC2026. ↑Dr. Noriyuki Kadoya’s session Koki Nakajyo I participated in the 131st Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Medical Physics.
