Yukito Tanaka (M1)

Dr.Kadoya, Mr.Tanaka S(D3), Mr.Tanaka Y(M1), Mr.Tozuka(M1), Mr.Hoshino(M1) and Ms.Lee(D1) participated in the joint seminar held on March 18, 2023, at Fujita Medical School. I would like to report on our visit.

First, each group introduced themselves using an online card game called “Values Card”. The game was very exciting and we were able to get to know each other’s personalities.
Next, faculty members from each laboratory introduced their laboratory’s vision and confirmed the direction of their research.
Finally, students from each university gave a slide presentation on their own presentations and deepened their understanding of each other’s research. During the question-and-answer period, there was a lively exchange of opinions, and new ideas were found one after another. During the group study, the students were able to talk with many faculty members from other universities, making it a meaningful time for them.

At the Corona Disaster, seminars and other events were held online and there was no on-site interaction, but this joint seminar was held face-to-face, so graduate students were able to communicate with each other in depth. The presence of students of the same generation, who will be responsible for medical physics in the future, was very stimulating. I look forward to a lively exchange of opinions at future conferences.
