The theme of the conference was “Be a Changer in Medicine with Radiology,” and the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Radiological Society (JRS), the 79th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT), the 125th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Medical Physics (JSMP), and the 2023 International Technical Exhibition on Medical Imaging ( (JIRA) were jointly held.

I gave an oral presentation at JSMP on “Examination of Contour Propagation in MRgRT for Prostate Cancer Patients Using Open Source DIR Software,” and I have been to JSMP to give a presentation on the use of DIR to support contour creation in MR imaging immediate adaptive radiation therapy (MRgRT) using MR-Linac, However, the accuracy of MR-MR DIR has not yet been fully evaluated. In this study, we evaluated DIR accuracy using multiple DIR software (one open-source and two commercial). This analysis showed that MR-MR DIR is valid for clinical use, although there are differences among the software packages. However, since the results of this study were based on a single DIR parameter, we felt that further analysis is needed to evaluate the impact of DIR parameters on MR-MR DIR accuracy in detail.

Finally, I gained valuable experience and knowledge for future research and conference presentations at this JSMP. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave me this valuable opportunity. Thank you very much.
