2023.10.2:Special Research Student Mr. Zhang came to our laboratory

Special Research Student(Zhang Zhoujie) came to our laboratory from McMaster University in Canada.

Mr.Zhang(Special Research Student)

Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate degrees at McMaster University in Canada, majoring in Medical and Biological Physics. Now, I am a research student at Tohoku University in the Medical Physics Group. Although my undergraduate program emphasized physics more and I lacked prior clinical experience, I developed a profound interest in medical physics and want to learn it by combining it with clinical experience. Moreover, here at Tohoku University Medical Physics Group, they also welcome graduates from the Department of Science. This welcoming environment influenced my decision to choose here for my future studies and research. I am also very excited about the research projects led by Dr. Kadoya, where AI is utilized to enhance and support radiation therapy making it both novel and intriguing.
Furthermore, during my time as a research student, I am determined to dive deep into my field of study, identify the primary research themes that capture my attention the most, and try my best to prepare for the master’s test.
If I can successfully pass the exam, I will be very happy, as it will allow me to spend more time in this lab and collaborate with everyone on exciting research projects.
